CAUNY as a brand was created in 1927 and based in La Chaux-De-Fond, Switzerland
The quality of the watches is very good, their logo the "Fleur de Lys" is striking and appears to have been re-registered in the early 70's after the late 60's demise this time in Madrid, Spain. The logo this time more stylized. The brand seems to have developed well in the Iberian Peninsula, Spain, Portugal, Andorra as well as South America.
This dial is in amazing condition, champagne starburst with gold applied markers and it is really very, very pretty…… with beautiful ‘Roman Gladius’ hands….minute register with just a great handset combination….I’ve matched the watch with a vintage leather rolled strap which looks great

This is a beautiful chronograph watch from 1960’s. It is very rare to find a watch this old in this condition. Defiantly a collector watch. Please look at all the pictures, as they are part of the description. The watch is working and keeping time. This is a highly collectible watch. Very few left with this rare movement.
